Act III Notes by Mary Coe

Banquo and his son, Fleance, go riding. 
Assassins hired by Macbeth murder Banquo, and the son flees.
At a royal feast, Banquo's ghost shows up and sits in Macbeth's chair.  No one but Macbeth sees him.
Lady Macbeth makes excuses for Macbeth's behavior.
Three witches cast spells with their boss, Hecate.
